Nightwing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage and execute procurement activities for a variety of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet organizational needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills :
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.
Strong ability to assess and manage supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
Ability to develop and manage detailed procurement schedules and budgets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Knowledge of compliance regulations, including procurement law, government contracting rules, and environmental standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Desired Skills :
Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics to coordinate delivery and inventory needs.
Experience with cost analysis and financial management to identify savings opportunities.
Ability to collaborate with project managers and other departments to align procurement needs with business objectives.
Knowledge of international procurement processes and global supply chains.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Education Requirement :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on full performance procurement activities.
Clearance Requirement : TS / SCI
