WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nikes Transformation, Organizational Strategy and Culture (TOC) team is looking for a Principal, TOC/Retail to join our internal consultants specializing in driving operating model design and business advising to enable our strategy. This role will need someone with steadfast curiosity, a passion for advancing human potential, critical thinking, and the ability to translate complex business and organizational problems into clear problem statements, plans and solutions. You will bring a high degree of adaptability, resilience, and the flexibility to lead across multiple projects. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This team leads the design and execution of local and global strategic operating model design initiatives, using systems thinking approach and driving the highest impact/value to the consumer. In a typical day, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to translate our strategy into reality, leading assessments of our operating model, scoping transformation initiatives and designing holistic solutions to evolve our capabilities, structure, processes and people.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will navigate a global matrix and a diverse North America marketplace. Reporting to our Senior Director, Transformation & Organizational Strategy, North America & Global Retail, you will be part of a broader global team and the North America HR team. To do your best work, you will collaborate with other Transformation & Organizational Strategy teammates, senior business leaders, and partners across the business, finance and HR.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Social Sciences or related field

  • 8 years of experience working as a consultant or lead on organizational transformation efforts including designing and implementing operating models, organization structures and management processes leading change and transformation initiatives, and driving leadership and team effectiveness

  • Skilled at turning complex information into clear narratives by connecting systemic trends and issues, examining opportunities from multiple perspectives, identifying options and articulating tradeoffs

  • Ability to play an executive-level consulting role in cross-functional transformation or strategy projects, including supporting leadership teams to navigate diverse priorities and drive clear decision-making

  • Experience leading transformation and/or strategy projects which have cross-functional impacts, skilled at adapting plans to changing environments and constantly prioritizing the most important work to achieve breakthroughs and drive impact

  • Strong management consulting skillset, including project scoping and management, hypothesis development, research, benchmarking and trend identification

  • Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, identify conflicts and negotiate solutions in a fast-paced global matrix organization

  • Excellent communication and presentations skills, comfortable engaging with diverse teams and senior stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills with ability to work in a diverse team across multiple levels
