The Financial Controller is accountable for overseeing and managing all the financial operations for the aftermarket in the Americas. The position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, developing and managing budget and forecasting processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the Company’s growth and profitability goals. The role also includes overseeing related administrative activities, such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and credit card administration.

Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed product line reporting that includes actuals, budget, and forecasts.
- Ensure month-end close tasks are conducted accurately, general accounting functions, balance sheet reconciliations and expense trend analysis.
- Conduct detailed review and/or completion of the monthly Percentage of Completion for revenue recognition accounting.
- Prepare and analyze actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical performance.
- Review the monthly financial results, prepare the analysis to compare with budget and forecast, track the variances, SGA and provide the explanations and insights .
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting required by Corporate, Nikkiso and other reporting requests.
- Perform research and analysis as required.
- Lead the annual budgeting process to develop accurate and forward-thinking financial plans and targets.
- Assist with the development of modeling tools for month-end, forecasts, and budget
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts to assess performance against budget and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and resource allocations.
- Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with J-SOX as well as other financial guidelines, company policies and procedures, and control requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, compiling schedules and work closely with auditors to address findings and implement necessary improvements.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and recommend necessary adjustments to financial practices.
- Perform contract financial reviews.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and credit card administration.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital to support operational needs.
- Implement and maintain financial systems, processes, and controls to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Direct year-end inventory physical counts and assist as needed with variance diagnoses and recommendations or obsolete and slow moving inventory.
- Assist with documenting processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on financial performance, risk management, and cost optimization.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial and operational data and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision-making purposes and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, processes and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 7 years’ experience in a Controller or similar role.
- Previous management experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Power Point skills required.
- Experience with ERP system is required.
- Understanding of GAAP and financial analysis experience needed.
- Prior industrial manufacturing accounting experience is highly preferred.
Pay Range: $99,000 - 188,000
