POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As an AM Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing additive manufacturing processes to enhance print quality, machine efficiency, and overall performance. You will leverage your knowledge of Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology, along with software programming skills, to investigate the physical phenomena governing the process, refine scan strategies, and resolve printing challenges. You will drive process innovation and ensure successful outcomes for complex and cutting-edge projects.
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimize scan strategies to enhance part quality and printability.
- Optimize laser allocation to increase machine utilization and efficiency.
- Analyze and interrogate AM slice files and scan strategies to identify and resolve printing challenges.
- Utilize your knowledge of LPBF processes to troubleshoot and refine manufacturing workflows.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to validate and refine scan strategies.
- Utilize programming knowledge (e.g., Python, C ) to develop tools for data analysis and process optimization.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Science), Physics, or related fields.
- 3 years of experience in additive manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on LPBF.
- Hands-on experience with build preparation software, such as Materialize Magics, Autodesk Netfabb or similar tools.
- Experience optimizing laser scan strategies and resolving print-related challenges.
- Knowledge of LPBF processes and their applications in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C ) is highly beneficial.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
