Description
Under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Director or pool managers, a pool attendant will assist with any and all facility maintenance tasks as required by management. This is a part-time, seasonal position, no benefits. Hours are varied throughout the season which runs from May-September. Pay rate is minimum wage, no benefits. Must be at least 15 years old.

- Engage patrons in assigned area and enforce pool rules pertaining to the area’s specific feature.
- Maintaining facility cleanliness as directed by the Aquatics Director/Managers.
- Enforce all pool rules to ensure patron safety.
- Will assist in set up/tear down of room rentals.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
- Completes various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Executes miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 15 years old, will need to obtain a work permit.
- Must be available to work from May to September.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of all pool rules.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the department.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in 90 degree temperatures.
