Digital Learning Specialist
REPORTS TO : Director of Professional Learning & Staff Development
POSITION OBJECTIVE : The job of Digital Learning Specialist is done for the purpose / s of
assisting the Director of Professional Learning and Staff Development as well as design and
develop comprehensive training materials and programs, and deliver engaging training sessions
for administrators, faculty, and staff on office productivity tools, software, and internet
applications. Additionally, this role will provide continuous support and guidance for the effective
use of District-supported applications to enhance operational efficiency and user proficiency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in job-related area preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Ability to make effective presentations and develop practical operating models

RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibilities include : working under limited supervision using standardized practices and / or
methods; leading, guiding, and / or coordinating others; utilization of some resources from other
work units may be required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to
have some impact on the organization's services.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical
demands : some lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching,
and / or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 25%
walking, and 25% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
