Robotics Assistant Coach Job Description
Position Title : Robotics Assistant Coach
Reports To : Director of Engineering, Computer Science & Business
Position Summary : The robotics team assistant coach is responsible to assist the head coach in
recruiting and training students for robotics competitions.
Essential Functions :
- Sets up weekly meetings and takes attendance
- Monitors robotevents.com and the vex forums for updated news during the season
- Learns the new rules for VEX robotics competition each
- Monitors and coaching students during the design and building process
- Attends all competitions
Goals of the Club :
The goal of the Robotics Team is to successfully compete as a team in regional, state, and
national events.
Calendar : Regular : August through January
Extended Season : February through April
Hours Per Week : 6
Governing Body : Robotevents.com
Building : Niles West and Niles North
Performance Evaluation : Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the District evaluation procedures.
