As the Pricing Manager for the US, you play a vital role in the company's financial success by developing and implementing effective pricing strategies for both products and services that align with business goals. This position involves analyzing market trends, assessing competition, and understanding customer behavior to set competitive prices that maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and execute pricing models, strategies and actions for products and services that align with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand competitor pricing, customer demand, and industry trends.
  • Analyze production costs and collaborate with the finance team to ensure pricing strategies cover costs and achieve desired profit margins.
  • Track the performance of pricing strategies and make necessary adjustments to optimize sales volume and / or profitability as required.
  • Work closely with sales, service, product management and business finance teams to ensure product pricing and strategies align with business objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with the global pricing team.
  • Present pricing analyses and propose actions to senior management, such as the annual price setting process, and execute leadership decisions on prices.
  • Oversee price administration activities, maintain price records, and manage pricing functionality in the ERP, recommending changes and solving pricing problems as needed.
  • Maintain and improve structured pricing approach for customer and distribution partners, including ultimate responsibility for Minimum Advertised Pricing program management.
  • Evaluate technology solutions that can improve effectiveness and efficiency of price management.
  • Train and mentor pricing analyst and other relevant staff on pricing strategies and tools.
  • Consult sales on pricing approach for large opportunities.
  • Ensure all pricing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Work on special pricing projects and initiatives.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in pricing within a multinational manufacturing company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of statistical and mathematical principles.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize efforts and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize the team's work to maximize impact. Enable, support, and hold the team accountable for their deliverables and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is an advantage.

    The estimated pay range indicates the expected annualized pay range for this position. It may not include potential bonus incentives such as annual bonus' as well as sales and sales related incentives, or overtime (on eligible positions). The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
