What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Counter position at Nilfisk?
MAJOR FUNCTION
The Cycle Count position will perform cycle counts, compile and maintain records of quantity, type and value of material, equipment, and/or supplies. Will research root causes for count discrepancies and document resolution, and make appropriate approved adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Six months experience in manufacturing / distribution type setting.
Experience in cycle count processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and a working knowledge of SAP is required.

The estimated pay range indicates the expected annualized pay range for this position. The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Generate cycle count list and coordinate the cycle count with appropriate departments. Analyze completed cycle count lists to determine discrepancies as requested.
- Reconcile actual inventory against records and determine causes and variances.
- Update counts per guidelines and generate inventory reports.
- Organize and maintain all required records, files, documentation, etc.
- Compare the actual count to the recorded inventory levels.
- Assist in locating and identifying inventory items.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Six months experience in manufacturing / distribution type setting.
Experience in cycle count processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Must be able to walk and stand for periods at a time.
- Forklift experience and ability to become certified.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be able to work alone.
- Must have accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to count and have good mathematical skills.
