What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Nili Lotan New York?
Nili Lotan is looking for an Account Executive to help manage a portfolio of specialty boutiques, as well as major luxury retailers throughout the United States. This role is responsible for hosting market appointments, securing orders, and managing in-season business for our current account matrix, as well as prospecting new accounts in their territory.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
DISTRIBUTION
- Manage existing business throughout their territory, assessing opportunities for growth within our current client matrix
- Work with EVP of Wholesale to build out distribution strategy within their territory, targeting top-tier luxury retail partners
PRE-SEASON MANAGEMENT
- Work with accounts during New York market seasonally to build account-appropriate assortments that represent the collection and brand vision
- Secure orders from accounts to achieve market budget
- Enter orders into Joor and/or RLM, ensuring that all information is accurate and submitted by our order deadline
- Communicate with accounts any changes or updates that need to be made to their orders
- Work with internal and account marketing teams to build marketing strategy in support of the growing business
IN-SEASON MANAGEMENT
- Communicate regularly with accounts to gain insight into their sales performance, customer base, business needs, and opportunities
- Support accounts on day-to-day business needs to ensure business is maximized
- Work with accounts on reorders to drive account sales and achieve internal reorder targets
- Review selling regularly to gain understanding of and react to region-specific opportunities
- Work cross-functionally to develop in-store experiences that represent the brand globally
- Travel to key markets seasonally to support stores, gain insights into customer profiles and business opportunities, and prospect new accounts
- Work with online accounts to ensure all product is shot and launched on time, brand styling is in line with our brand vision, and product is properly supported across retailer sites throughout category and trend shops
- Relay product feedback internally to ensure we are responding to region-specific client needs and maximizing opportunities
ORDER MAINTENANCE AND SHIPPING
- Ensure all orders are accurate in our system
- Work with logistics team to monitor account shipping and ensure that orders are flowing properly in accordance with account ship windows
- Communicate with accounts if any action is needed on their end to secure payment and ship
- Communicate with accounts any order delays and secure extensions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of wholesale experience, preferably in luxury or advanced contemporary market
- Relationships with top tier major partners and specialty stores
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Understanding of retail math, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in excel
- Team player who works well with others
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
