Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Application Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize internal and external software applications critical to medical revenue cycle management. This role focuses on ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various systems, including the setup and facilitation of healthcare interfaces. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address complex challenges, improve workflows, and support software in production and under development—all in a fully remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Management & Configuration:

• Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of internal and external software applications to meet business and client needs
• Facilitate the development and implementation of healthcare interfaces, ensuring compatibility and smooth data exchange across systems
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance application functionality and address integration challenges
  
  
  

Troubleshooting & Optimization:

• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues in production and development environments, including database-related concerns and system performance optimization
• Leverage SQL and other tools to analyze and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and system functionality across internal and external applications
  
  
  

Collaboration with QA and Development Teams:

• Work closely with QA teams to validate software functionality and performance during production and development cycles
• Partner with development teams to test, implement, and enhance new features, updates, and system integrations
  
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure applications align with operational and client objectives
• Provide occasional guidance and training to users on advanced system features and configurations as needed
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in application administration or a related role, preferably in healthcare IT or medical revenue cycle management
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards, such as HL7 and FHIR, and experience working with system interfaces
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management and troubleshooting
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex integrations and system workflows
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with medical billing, coding, transcription or claims management processes is a plus

• Experience managing and optimizing multiple internal and external applications in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles

Working Conditions
