Job Overview
nimble solutions (“nimble” and f/k/a National Medical) is currently seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing team. nimble provides revenue cycle outsourcing services to ambulatory surgery centers (“ASCs”), surgical practices, surgical hospitals, and anesthesia groups. This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading brand serving a high-growth end market while gaining valuable experience working closely with executive leadership.
What You'll Do Each Day
- Daily review and completion of assigned schedules
- Verifying medical insurance eligibility and benefits
- Verifying patient demographic information and providing correction pre-service
- Verifying prior authorization requirements
- Providing patient liability estimates based on insurance benefits and network reimbursement
- Updating post-op demographic information to assist with claim denials
- Assist ASC scheduling teams with any front-end clarification or cases added to the schedule within our assigned window
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of both insurance benefits and prior authorization
- Communication skills ability to quickly and effectively multi-task
- EPIC system experience
Salary : $17 - $21
