THE POSITION
The Director of Digital Commerce a strategic leadership role that combines elements of online business management, marketing execution, and team leadership. Their primary mandate is to grow a company’s online revenue by optimizing its e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and brand presence across the internet. This position will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive e-commerce strategies, digital marketing campaigns, and data-driven optimizations that align with the broader business objectives of our consumer electronics brand. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage external agency partnerships, and ensure that the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation. This individual typically works closely with senior leadership and collaborates with sales, product, IT, creative, and customer success teams.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
8 years experience in e-commerce and digital marketing.
3-5 years minimum in a leadership role.
Extensive experience with website management, digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amazon Brand Analytics).
Proficient in e-commerce platforms (Shopify)
Knowledge of current AI-driven tools and workflows.
Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, and email marketing best practices.
Experience with CRO and UX / UI principles.
Familiarity with marketing automation software and CRM systems.
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and external partner management.
Understanding of consumer market dynamics, trends and customer behavior is strongly preferred.
Experience with product launches, seasonality, and retail partnerships is a plus.
