We are looking for a Manager of Client Services to support clients with their commercial insurance needs. This role involves managing client accounts, processing policy documentation, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. The manager collaborates with team members, underwriters, and clients to maintain and expand our growing book of business.
In this role you’ll
- Assist clients in managing their commercial insurance policies, including property, liability, and business interruption coverage.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on appropriate insurance coverage tailored to their business needs.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy updates promptly and accurately.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional coverage.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and responding to claims-related questions.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure adequate coverage and client satisfaction.
- Educate clients about policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and endorsements.
- Prepare and review proposals, binders, certificates of insurance, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency management system.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Work closely with underwriters and carriers to secure competitive quotes and negotiate policy terms.
- Collaborate with sales teams to onboard new clients and expand business opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and account retention.
- Provide initial support for commercial claims, guiding clients through the claims process.
- Act as a liaison between clients, adjusters, and insurance carriers to facilitate prompt resolution.
What you’ll need
- Active Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty Insurance License or another state's Property and Casualty General Lines Agent License (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- 1–3 years professional experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficient in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (or ability to learn new software/applications easily)
· Problem-solving and analytical skills to address client needs effectively.
- Client-centric approach with a focus on delivering superior service.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
