We’re looking for a Lead Senior Engineer with expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management to design, develop, and maintain flexible eCommerce fulfillment applications. This role requires 7 years of software development experience, including 5 years of hands-on experience with Sterling Commerce v10. You’ll collaborate with global teams, lead development efforts, and ensure high-quality, timely deliveries.
✔️ Lead development & customization of IBM Sterling Commerce Order Management
✔️ Collaborate with onsite & offshore teams in design sessions
✔️ Participate in on-call rotation for production support
✔️ Optimize system performance through configuration & tuning
✔️ Ensure best practices, coding standards & conduct code reviews
✔️ Provide weekly progress reports to the reporting manager
✔️ Support Spring Boot & Java development activities (good to have)
✔️ Adapt to changing work schedules & priorities
✅ Deep expertise in Sterling OMS – Sourcing, Scheduling, Inventory, Payments, SDF, Custom APIs, SOM
✅ Hands-on coding experience with Java
✅ Experience with Sterling containerization & public cloud environments
✅ Strong understanding of Sterling OMS build & deployment process
✅ Experience in high-volume, high-availability enterprise applications
✅ Background in Omni-Channel eCommerce & Order Management
✅ Retail Industry Domain knowledge
➕ Performance tuning experience
➕ Experience with Agile development environments
➕ B2C web commerce & order fulfillment distribution center systems
➕ Experience with:
