Role Summary

As a cross-trained Medical Assistant you ensure our clinical operations run smoothly. This role demands a high level of reliability, adaptability, and multitasking to step in and support patient care and office efficiency wherever needed. What You’ll Do

• Dynamic Clinical Support. Ensure continuity of care by performing a variety of clinical tasks like chart prepping, patient intake, placing & following up on orders.
• Patient Data Management. Accurately document medical history, vital signs, and test results in our EMR system, eClinicalWorks.
• Exam Room Readiness. Assist with preparing exam rooms and ensuring providers have what they need to deliver top-tier patient care.
• Diagnostic Excellence. Support the performance of pulmonary function tests, spirometires, and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Communication Champion. Assist with triaging calls, coordinating care, and maintaining a professional, patient-centered approach.
• Remote Patient Engagement. Support remote monitoring initiatives to enhance patient outcomes beyond in-office visits.
• Versatile Team Player. Be ready to step into various roles as needed to support the practice's success.

• Bilingual Skills. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly valued.
• Proven Experience. 1 years in a Medical Assistant (pulmonology experience preferred).
• Professional Certifications. Formal Medical Assistant training; BLS and/or CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Education. High school diploma or equivalent required.
