Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with IT Technical Writing experience to support documentation and training initiatives for IT systems. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in systems documentation, technical writing, and business process analysis. This role requires translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation for both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including source code documentation, user guides, integration guides, and system operation manuals.
- Translate developer documentation into clear, structured technical documents for business and IT teams.
- Analyze and document business system processes to support system implementations and enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and user-friendly documentation.
- Develop large-scale training materials, including training plans, user guides, and job aids for new systems or applications.
- Conduct research to simplify complex technical concepts and create structured, easy-to-understand content.
- Ensure documentation aligns with best practices and industry standards.
- Manage multiple documentation projects and meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in systems documentation, including source code, user documentation, and technical writing.
- 6 years of experience in business system process analysis and documentation.
- Experience translating client and product strategy requirements into actionable documentation.
- 6 years of experience developing large-scale training materials for system users.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Docs for documentation and content creation.
