Data Analyst (AWS, Python, SQL) Hybrid/Remote (Local to VA, MD, DC)
Exciting opportunity to join the Enterprise Risk Technology Software Engineering team in the Chief Data Office at Fannie Mae! We are looking for a Data Analyst with a Data Science background for a long-term contract role.
Job Details:
Location: Hybrid/Remote Local candidates in VA, MD, or DC preferred
Duration: Long-term contract
Interview: Virtual
What You ll Do:
Work with AWS, Python, SQL, and PySpark for data analysis & management
Maintain and enhance existing modeling code (linear regression, no ML)
Collaborate with teams to support data-driven decision-making
Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Optimize and tweak existing code as needed for new projects
What We re Looking For:
Strong Data Analysis experience with Python coding skills
Hands-on experience with AWS, SQL, and PySpark
Familiarity with linear regression modeling code (not ML)
Ability to maintain and modify existing code
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Hybrid or Remote option available, but local candidates (VA, MD, DC) are preferred!
