COLLISION REPAIR PLANNER
Located at our brand new Nimnicht Collision Center facility on Blanding Blvd.
Summary
Assess vehicle damage to determine cost of repair for insurance claim or customer pay settlement.
Essential Duties
- Examines damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
- Determines cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Reviews blueprint with technicians, Foreman, and parts department.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors etc.
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair procedures, cost estimates and recommendations.
- Uses OEM data and procedures to develop repair plan.
Marginal Duties
Assists other team departments to ensure the job is flowing through the repair facility.
