Position Overview: We are seeking a highly proficient Associate Designer to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for luxury interior design and a proven track record in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing sketches on paper and using graphic design software.
- Collaborate with senior designers to create design concepts.
- Research industry trends and stay updated on design innovations.
- Source materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the project's design vision and budget.
- Create prototypes and participate in the design development process.
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications for interior spaces, including custom furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and project managers to ensure design integrity and project timelines are maintained.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure the successful execution of design plans.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Ensure designs align with our brand’s luxury aesthetic and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-end interior design, with a portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of design principles, space planning, and product development.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and furnishings specific to luxury design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating luxurious and sophisticated spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,600.00 - $63,867.00 per year
