Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care, particularly for seniors and those with specific health needs such as dementia.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
• Assist with mobility and lifting, ensuring safety during transfers and movement.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health protocols.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or patient care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology is beneficial for effective reporting.
• A genuine passion for providing senior care and enhancing the lives of others.
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
