Leasing Agent - Multiple sites
This candidate will be an active part of growing our residential community by interacting with potential and existing tenants, following up with leads, posting on Social Media, engaging in surrounding communities, all while maintaining professionalism in representing the Nine Zero brand. This candidate will learn each property in the Omaha Metro and assist each team.

Nine Zero Properties is growing our Leasing Team. At Nine Zero (“NZ”), we develop, own, and manage our residential communities – so we’re fully invested in the experience from the building concept to the day-to-day living experience. We have four new, exceptional living communities with over 850 apartment units in the greater Omaha and Lincoln areas including: The Corvina, Benson Lights, Vivere at La Vista City Centre, and The Flats at Leighton District in Lincoln. That’s where you come in! We’re looking to grow our team of collaborative, creative, and driven professionals who will help ensure an exceptional living experience for our residents.

JOB DETAILS:
This position is primarily a sales-style position with a strong emphasis on customer service, meeting goals, and achieving results. You’ll be the first representation of our company, where you’ll get to know prospect residents and help them find their future home at one of our communities!
In this role you will…
Become the expert on Nine Zero property living communities.
Leverage social media and other internet-based tools to stay relevant on market trends, issues, competition, and to engage with current and future residents.
Build great relationships with prospect residents to best understand their wishes for a future home.
Present the community and lifestyle of our apartment homes.
Ensure you are fair and consistent, complying with all Fair Housing standards and company processes.
Work as a team with fellow Leasing Consultants, Property Managers, etc. to realize individual and company-wide goals.
Field and help resolve any resident concerns, showcasing the best customer-service in the industry. Work closely with Maintenance and Property Management.
Become a system expert, using our tools and processes as designed so that we can track, monitor, and measure the things that matter most throughout the prospect/resident experience. This includes keeping vacancies up to date in applicable programs/software, using reporting tools, etc.
Communicate with prospect and current residents via email, phone, and web-based tools.
Fulfill detailed file management duties such as preparing leases and renewal leases, creating and managing resident files, and ensuring files are accurate, up to date, and complete.
Assist with other duties as assigned which may include unit make-ready activities, tidying the community spaces, and like activities.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality is required.
High School diploma required; College degree or some college coursework is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience working with people from diverse backgrounds with an emphasis on providing a personal experience and a high level of customer service required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills technical aptitude.
Experience with Yardi and other Leasing tools is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment.
Must comply with laws/policies regarding Federal, State and Municipal Fair Housing Laws, The Nebraska Tenant Landlord Act, and the Federal and State Safety Regulations.
Must be have a valid Driver’s License and be able to safely operate a vehicle.
