As an Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and project development teams to support the planning, design, and execution of clean energy projects in the New York City metro area. This role offers hands-on experience in renewable energy, battery storage technology, and project development. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated engineering student with strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for sustainable energy.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in screening potential project sites for technical feasibility.
- Support the preparation of preliminary designs and interconnection applications.
- Conduct research on site conditions, including environmental and zoning constraints.
- Assist in developing project designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review project designs and provide technical input.
- Support contractor and vendor coordination efforts.
- Contribute to monitoring project milestones and tracking progress.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges that arise during project development.
- Maintain project documentation and assist in SOP creation.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field).
- Familiarity with battery storage systems, electrical grids, or renewable energy technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software, electrical schematics, and energy modeling tools is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in the clean energy sector and a commitment to sustainability.
- Internship duration: Summer 2025
- Hybrid work model based out of our office in Brooklyn, NY with opportunities for site visits and hands-on project experience.
