What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Ninja Sushi?
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and restock supplies as needed
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Upsell drink specials and promote menu items
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and cashiering duties
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- Familiarity with restaurant or food service industry is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food handling guidelines
