We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized, including washing floors and surfaces as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events or banquets by bussing tables and cleaning up after service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
