Job Summary :
We are looking for a Jr. Data Engineer to join a team of analytics and machine learning experts. The hire will be responsible for building tooling to support analytics, helping to extend our machine learning platform, expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, and interfacing with the Development team to create cross-team solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience as a software engineer and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. They must be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing, our company's data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and augment data pipeline architecture.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Python, DBT, and AWS.
- Basic data modeling
- Building infrastructure and jobs to clean and transform information.
