You work will be core to our mission to be the #1 retail trading platform in the world by making better traders through client-centric web experiences. As a leader in our technology organization, your team's work will have a deep impact on our customers, directly influencing our business's bottom line.In this role, you will : Mentor and manage a diverse team of full-stack and front-end Software Engineers across a spectrum of seniority, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in executionAssume an active role in the career development of direct reports with regular 1 : 1s, direct feedback, coachingEngage in hands-on design and ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools / methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmapsOversee engineering processes and ensure smooth deployments, minimizing downtime and impact on usersHire the best talent to help build and grow NinjaTrader’s product engineering teams. The person in this role will manage multiple teams and delivery of projectsWork with Product and Design leaders as well as other internal stakeholders and external consultants to build the best-in-class Trader Engagement ExperienceWhat we look for :  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience10 years of engineering experience working in agile software engineering teams designing and building external client facing software products in a fast paced, complex, and dynamic product development environment2 years of leadership experience managing product focused engineering teams, ideally in a geographically distributed settingA strong frontend web engineering background with deep understanding of core modern front-end technologies and frameworks : React, JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS, servers-side scripting, websockets and cloud deployment pipelinesSolid understanding of API designs and usage and Backend technologies such as different persistence storage options and microservicesExperience with project management tools such as JIRAExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical. problems concisely to a non-technical audienceCompensation : The salary range for this role will be $165,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of up to 12%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company / team performance (50%).Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. Salary : $165,000 - $190,000
