Commercial Estimator (Interior Finishes)

Nino Development is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Estimator with a strong background in Interior Finishes for projects based in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, assisting in project bidding, and ensuring the completion of high-quality commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in commercial estimating, specifically within interior finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, focusing on interior finishes such as drywall, flooring, ceilings, and other related components.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project accuracy and cost-efficiency.
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope, requirements, and potential risks.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather relevant information for accurate estimation.
• Provide ongoing support and communication throughout the life cycle of the project, from pre-construction to project closeout.
• Monitor costs and adjust estimates as necessary to align with project budgets and timelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial estimating, specifically in interior finishes.
• Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and cost estimating methods.
• Strong proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards for interior finishes.
