Job Description:
As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator, your primary focus will be on estimating and driving new business for commercial roofing projects. You will work closely with our internal teams to provide accurate, competitive estimates, while focusing on meeting and exceeding the $5 million annual sales target. This role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of commercial roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on generating sales and estimating for commercial roofing projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Drive new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients to achieve a $5 million annual sales target.
- Provide clear and detailed estimates for roofing projects, working closely with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Leverage EDGE Estimating Software and CRM systems to prepare estimates, track sales progress, and manage client interactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, fostering repeat business opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and roofing crews to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on roofing industry trends, product innovations, and local building codes to provide the most accurate estimates and solutions.
- Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales estimating within the commercial roofing industry.
- Ability to drive new business and achieve sales targets, with experience in managing at least $5 million in sales annually.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in EDGE Estimating Software and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently to manage multiple projects and clients.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
