We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Salesperson to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sales in the roofing industry, who is driven to build client relationships and help grow our commercial roofing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities and identify potential clients in the commercial roofing market in Atlanta, GA.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, building owners, and other key stakeholders in the commercial sector.
- Conduct thorough roof inspections and assessments to recommend the best roofing solutions for clients’ needs.
- Develop customized proposals and present roofing system options that meet clients’ project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to secure commercial roofing projects.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest roofing products and technologies, ensuring clients receive the best possible options for their needs.
- Track sales performance and forecast revenue, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Provide clients with exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to project completion.
- Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to further grow the business and build relationships within the commercial construction and roofing industries.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices in commercial roofing to provide clients with the most relevant and accurate information.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of sales experience in the commercial roofing industry or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, and modified bitumen.
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Proven success in sales, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships, manage client expectations, and close deals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and roofing specifications.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Roofing certifications or industry-related credentials (e.g., NRCA, RCI) are a plus.
