Nino Development has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Las Vegas NV area on their search for a Financial Controller.
Title: Financial Construction Controller - Commercial Construction (5 years)
Project Types: Tenant Improvement and Ground-Up Commercial (Entertainment, Casino, Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing financial policies
- Overseeing the accounting staff
- Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations
- Preparing and managing budgets
- Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Handling preparation for tax returns
- Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits
- Assisting with corporate financial decisions
Skills & Qualifications:
- BS in Construction Management or Accounting
- Must have experience working for a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Owner/Developer
- 5 years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager position specific to Construction
- MUST have experience in both QuickBooks & Procore
