Job Description:
You will be responsible for evaluating the cost and scope of electrical projects, including those in the commercial and transportation fields. Your expertise will be key in helping us deliver accurate bids and ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will collaborate with our project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to provide detailed estimates and ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate electrical estimates for commercial and transportation projects.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the full scope of work.
- Identify and quantify electrical materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to gather pricing and technical data.
- Analyze project risks and develop strategies to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines.
- Track project costs and make adjustments to estimates as needed during the course of the project.
- Ensure that all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial and transportation sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and industry standards.
- Experience with cost estimation software and project management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess project requirements accurately.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience working on projects in Anaheim, CA or similar areas is a plus.
