At Nino Development, we are a leading construction company specializing in commercial projects. We are currently looking for a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This role is perfect for an experienced professional with expertise in managing electrical projects in the commercial construction sector. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical installations on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of electrical systems in commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of electrical installations.
- Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep all stakeholders informed on project progress, timelines, and potential issues.
- Conduct site visits to assess electrical work, monitor progress, and address any on-site issues.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and specifications.
- Lead the review of electrical blueprints and plans, identifying potential issues and providing technical solutions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, submittals, change orders, and RFIs, is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure safety protocols are being followed on the job site, promoting a safe work environment.
- Lead project meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to review project status, discuss challenges, and provide solutions.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior electrical team members, helping to foster professional growth and ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the commercial construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience managing electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and industry standards for commercial construction.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
