We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with regulations, and provide excellent support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll employees accurately and on time.
Verify and update employee data, including wages, benefits, tax deductions, and direct deposits.
Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Respond to employee inquiries about paychecks, taxes, or deductions.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
Workmax, UKG, and Acumatica experience is a PLUS!
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.
