Nino Development is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the operations of our Structural Steel Fabrication plant located in New Hampshire. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication facility, ensuring the production of high-quality structural steel components that meet project specifications and deadlines. You will lead a team of fabricators, welders, and support staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment while delivering exceptional products for commercial and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire plant production process, from material intake to final fabrication of structural steel components.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and production timelines.
- Supervise and train plant personnel, including fabricators, welders, and administrative staff.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain plant inventory, including raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Enforce strict compliance with all regulatory requirements related to safety, environmental, and construction standards.
- Oversee cost control and budgeting for plant operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role in the structural steel fabrication or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, and assembly techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a team.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with production scheduling, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
