Job Description:
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security equipment at commercial sites, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' security systems are reliable, cutting-edge, and fully functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial security systems including surveillance cameras (CCTV), access control, intrusion alarms, and building automation systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with security systems in commercial environments.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of commercial security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with project managers to plan, coordinate, and execute security installations and upgrades for commercial properties.
- Provide on-site training for commercial clients to ensure proper use and understanding of their security systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in commercial security, offering recommendations for system improvements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests from clients in a professional manner.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to commercial security systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Security Technician with a focus on commercial security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of commercial security technologies and their applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex commercial security systems, including networking and integration.
- Experience working in commercial settings (offices, retail, industrial buildings, etc.).
- Familiarity with wiring, electrical work, and network integration for commercial security systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications (NICET, PSA, or equivalent) are a plus.
