Nino Development has partnered with a highly successful Industrial/Commercial General Contractor in Nashville, TN on their search for an experienced VDC Manager.
This position holds responsibility for driving the adoption, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions within the Company. This role bridges the gap between field operations, project management, and IT by aligning technology strategies with business goals to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance project delivery through quality control and client satisfaction
Title: VDC Manager (5 years of experience)
Project Types: Industrial Tilt Wall/Ground-up Commercial Projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation and integration of construction software, including project management platforms, BIM tools, reality capture, and field technologies.
- Manage the deployment of hardware and systems such as drones, robotics, AR/VR, and IoT devices for project sites.
- Provide training to project management and field leadership on the effective use of all company construction technology platforms.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience as a VDC Manager
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical and sound judgment skills
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction administration or similar discipline
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Drone Deploy, Bluebeam Revu, 2D/3D renderings, basic animation, robotics, drones, and AR/VR applications
- Proficiency in PowerBi or similar dashboarding and data sharing platform is a plus
