Description Of Duties
This position is HYBRID in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $197,000 - $354,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Team/Job Summary: Within NOA’s IT Special Projects department, this role performs and reviews complex business and technical analysis and design while participating in the development of appropriate standards and technologies to support department and company objectives.
Description Of Duties
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel across multiple areas.
- Develops long-term, strategic enterprise architectures and standards, focusing on IT Architecture, for Information Technology systems within Nintendo of America, Inc. (NOA) and enforces their implementation and adherence across all IT groups.
- Participates, with project teams and other IT staff, as embedded members of project teams.
- Researches, assesses (through experimentation) and implements advanced approaches to designing enterprise technology systems. Apply to current business strategy and develop long-term architectural strategy for NOA.
- Assesses technical architectures, infrastructures and applications to identify opportunities to document and define reusable processes, components, objects and data.
- Implements and manages the definitions in a series of repositories.
- Defines standards and frameworks for IT architectures.
- Defines and documenting processes, services, data and objects to ensure that technical solutions take advantage of defined standards.
- Defines and documenting processes, services, data and objects to ensure interoperability between and across solutions.
- Mentors IT staff in use of defined services/objects/data and best practices regarding reusability.
- Participates in the defined governance bodies.
- Reviews enterprise and departmental applications to ensure that technical designs have appropriate modeling, SLA’s, security and sustainability incorporated into the solution.
- Performs architectural assessments (along with Chief architect and other architects) to drive reusability and adoption.
- Coordinates with the Infrastructure Team for the appropriate usage of environments.
- Coordinates with project and IT teams to appropriately implement defined data handling and security within applications and processes
- Coordinates with parent company and subsidiaries enterprise wide reusability and technology definitions.
- Participate in enterprise IT governance activities.
- Participate in performance tuning activities.
- Assist in business case development.
- Partners and collaborates with project teams to aid in the delivery of solutions
- Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in design and implementation of enterprise applications, IT architectures, IT modelling.
- Wide-ranging experience, including proven experience leading work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Wide ranging experience in multiple technical and business domains including Oracle, Microsoft, and Open-Source technologies.
- Wide ranging professional experience in business analysis and information technology including multiple companies and/or industries.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture constructs including TOGAF.
- Proven track record as a team or project leader.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Post-graduate work is a plus.
