Position description

The Problem Solving Court Case Manager is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties in support of the court’s Problem Solving Court programs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to serve adult clients in the Adult Drug Court, Veterans Treatment Court, and Mental Health Court Programs while gaining valuable experience through direct involvement in the court process. Responsibilities include creating, entering, monitoring, and maintaining case information, as well as assisting with case progression, docket preparation, status updates, and program referrals. The role also involves collaborating with participants, team members, and judges in court staffings and judicial hearings.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications and a working knowledge of the criminal justice system, including substance abuse and/or mental health treatment, are desired. A Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field is preferred; however, relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. This is an Osceola County-funded position with benefits.
