What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Intervention Assistant position at Ninth District Opportunity?
Qualifications:
· CDA, TCC, or AS degree in early childhood education.
· RBT certification or experience preferred but not required.
· Preferable at least one year’s experience in working with pre-school age children
· Experienced driver with valid license who has access to a vehicle that can be used on the job.
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Able to pass a criminal record check
· Knowledgeable of basic computer skills and predominant software such as Microsoft word, Excel, email, etc.
Job duties include (but not limited to) providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students, developing relationships and rapport with students and their families, teaching new skills and strategies to students, modeling intervention strategies for teachers, implementing daily positive behavior systems to improve students’ social skill development, implementing behavior plans with students through small group, one-on-one and within the classroom setting, gathering and analyzing data.
Must attend training sessions as required by the agency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
