Senior Product Manager, Embedded Finance

Location: New York City: (Hybrid Role 4 Days in Office)

Role Overview:

Ninth Wave is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Product Management, Embedded Finance to join our Product team reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The individual will play a pivotal role in the future of the company, becoming a champion for the Ninth Wave Platform regarding its embedded finance capabilities and integrations with leading ERP and accounting platforms. The individual will be responsible for the vision and product roadmap as it relates enabling best-in-class embedded finance functionality for customers.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of key skills and responsibilities for the Director of Product Management, Embedded Finance:

· Oversee a clear, and concise product strategy, and supporting roadmap, for key initiatives within the targeted product portfolio.

· Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders, including leadership, board members, and client advisory board members.

· Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of key initiatives within embedding finance for the Ninth Wave Platform.

· Become a key evangelist of the Ninth Wave Platform for embedding banking capabilities, and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders and market analysts.

· Distill product strategy and roadmap into defined functional specifications and use cases that can be handed off to development teams for execution.

· Collaborate with engineering leadership on all development efforts to ensure functional specifications evolve into tested, stable, scalable software that is easy to implement and support.

· Partner with leading ERP and accounting platforms and product teams to develop specific roadmaps per application

· Establish working knowledge of key features across leading ERP and accounting platforms to determine key integration points for the Ninth Wave Platform.

· Grow adoption and usage for embedded finance capabilities across the Ninth Wave customer base to enable direct revenue growth.

· Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.

· Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities.

· Monitor product development sprints and evaluate results.

· Consult with marketing lead as it relates to product marketing, product mix, marketing strategy, and strategic marketing plans for banking and payments product lines.

· Work closely with sales and marketing to develop comprehensive launch and growth strategies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience

· Minimum 10 years of strategy, business analysis, or product management

· Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded finance and/or payments fields

· Minimum 5 years of experience working in or with commercial banking and/or treasury management business divisions.

· Experience working directly with ERP and accounting applications, with working knowledge of the full suite of capabilities of ERP and accounting applications

· Proven ability to understand complex business concepts

· Strong analytical skills and ability to build consensus

· Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to interact at all levels of the clients from C-level to technical and operation levels

· An ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies

· Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success to effectively complete tactical activities

· A high degree of adaptability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
