Job Description: Ninyo & Moore’s Salt Lake City, Utah office has an immediate opening for a Chief Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Manager position. The candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring technical staff, and providing technical guidance on large, complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams and sub-consultants. The candidate will also serve as Principal-in-Charge on selected projects and oversee the construction materials testing and inspection division..
Education/Licensure: A Civil Engineering B.S. degree required; Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is highly preferred. Utah PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
Qualifications: 15 years of combined geotechnical and construction materials testing experience with at least 10 years' experience in a leadership role; Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills; Advanced knowledge in geotechnical design software.
