Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opportunity for independent Inspector / ICC Certified with any combination of the following certifications: Reinforced Concrete, structural masonry, post tensioned reinforced concrete, high strength bolting, structural steel welding and Prestressed Concrete in Salt Lake City, Utah to work as an independent contractor. The successful candidates should be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of the components listed. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements. Duties include, reports, as-builds, and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client's representatives are required.
Education: ICC certifications for Reinforced Concrete, Pre-stressed Concrete, Structural Steel and Bolting, structural masonry, post tensioned reinforced concrete Special Inspector or a combination thereof is required.
Required Skills: The successful candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a minimum of two years of experience. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Status: On Call; Independent inspectors must be licensed and insured
