What You Will Achieve…
Internal/External Strategy
- Works with Management Team to support strategies to ensure business is secured and revenue goals are met.
- Understands the customer’s/partner’s business and product development strategies.
- Supports the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, pricing and program strategy. Facilitates the contract negotiation process for partnering and supply agreements.
- Accountable for replying to proposals, securing logistical and contractual details, as well as displaying the ability to identify creative commercial solutions to deliver financial results.
- Identifies trends in the marketplace; communicates competitive situations with customers or within industry.
- Oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
- Provide analysis and supporting materials in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.
- Build and maintain a repository of corporate and other research findings.
- Supports the development of the Niowave brand and its marketing through traditional, social and digital channels.
- Engages clients in meaningful ways as part of Niowave’s partnering culture.
- Communicates and works to resolve customers satisfaction concerns.
- Addresses conflict and other barriers to collaboration directly and constructively, adapting to cultural norms and expectations when appropriate.
- Comprehends complex science-based issues specific to drug development, contract research, and relevant regulations; able to articulate Niowave’s position in the supply chain and understand the customer’s/partner’s technical needs.
- Actively seeks out and participates in both formal and informal training opportunities to continuously develop interpersonal, technical, and professional skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management, partners, and team members, staff and customers displaying a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field.
- 1-2 years of work or internship experience in sales, business development, or technical consulting experience with an emphasis on relationship management.
- Master’s degree in business administration or other related field.
- 3 - 5 years of sales, business development, or technical consulting experience with an emphasis on relationship management.
- Focus on life sciences, medical radioisotopes, drug development, or contract research is a plus.
- Full-Time, Salary/Exempt position.
- The company’s standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6a – 6p with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts.
- This position will have regular working hours during M – F with an expectation of adjusting to meet with internal and external stakeholders outside of the standard operating hours as needed.
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area. Travel between locations is expected in the role.
- Additional travel requirements include: site visits with partners/customers; attending industry meetings/conferences.
