Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient animals.
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, radiology, and urinalysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with clinic standards.
- Educate clients on pet health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical preparation and recovery.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Technician degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
