Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Responsible to expand Ocean Project Cargo volume in the United States, including both transport and installation.
- Responsible for building solid relationships with ocean carriers and other vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with US branches and regional partners on project cargo opportunities.
- Work with vendors and branches to build competitive pricing proposals.
- Monitor and oversee project progress.
- Some travel to provide on-site supervision.
- Customer visits when needed.
- Build market and product knowledge and devise a communication plan to ensure the market intelligence is shared with colleagues.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics.
· Significant experience in freight procurement from ocean carriers and space allocation management
· Several years experiences in product development, planning, marketing, related to ocean cargo
· Experience working at ocean carriers is especially welcome
