Responsibilities

Purpose:

Coordinate activities daily. Leads staff (Driver, HHG Helper etc.) on the appropriate Household Goods moving team.

Essential Duties:

• Lead and coordinate with a moving team preparation and movement of customer household goods
• Customer relations
• General Business support including Japanese/English translation
• Management of moving team to ensure packing, removing, and loading of the customer’s belongings
• Ensure unloading, placing in proper location and unpacking of the customer’s belongings
• Maintain a good working relationship with customers on site basis
• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with drivers
• Make sure all documentation relating to the shipment has been properly filled out.
• Supervisory Duties

• Salary Range: USD $48,000.00/Yr. - USD $55,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
• Approximately two years department or industry experience
• Able to read, write and speak in English and Japanese
• Good driving history
• Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules
• Knowledge of inventory control procedure
• Knowledge of distribution center operations
• Understand quality control programs
• Knowledge of domestic and international transportation regulations
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to perform driving and physical moving necessary for the position.
  • Available and capable of overnight travel

Organization Relationships:

Will work with all levels in the organization.

Work Environment:

(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly sedentary office work, which involves sitting, typing, filing, and conversing on the phone. But it is required to go on business trips visit in US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
