Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This position will involve managing inventory, forecasting sales orders, maintaining CRM entries, data modeling, and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and be adept at using data to drive decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Sales Order Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to accurately forecast sales orders and demand planning.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) entries to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Data Modeling: Develop and utilize data models to support decision-making processes in supply chain management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve supply chain processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and forecasting.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in the food industry or with emulsifiers is a plus
