Job Summary
We seek a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse(RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities and hospitals. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care protocols, excellent communication skills, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Provide ostomy care.
- Tube feeding
- Perform sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols in all aspects of patient care.
- Assist with laboratory procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
- Support patients in daily living activities, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within Level I and Level II Trauma Centers to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation as necessary.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse(RN)Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Tracheostomy and ventilator care experience
- Knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and sterile processing techniques.
- Experience in assisted living or inpatient settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma center protocols is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
