When: Thursday, March 27th (from 10am - 3pm) Last walk-in accepted at 2:30pm
Location of the event: 1705 E Tucson Marketplace Blvd, Tucson AZ, 85713
We will be scheduling by appointment, but walk in's are welcomed until 2:30pm.
Must have a resume!
Must be 21 or older to apply!
Support Staff
A Support Staff is someone who can use their comprehensive cannabis knowledge to guide customers to the appropriate medical or recreational product(s) and provide impeccable customer service while complying with all state regulations and company policies. They must provide customers with prompt service and quality products while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. They should always strive to improve their knowledge of products carried in our store, as well as any new developments relating to cannabis.
Their key responsibilities include greeting customers, placing them in the appropriate queue, operating the call center, and answering customers' questions regarding the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal use, and methods of consumption. They are crucial to maintaining the flow of the sales floor and keeping the manager or supervisors informed of any complaints or issues that may arise. They are responsible for helping customers navigate the world of cannabis consumption while abiding by all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Essential Duties
- Performing any duties delegated to you during the course of your shift, including side tasks like cleaning and organizing.
- Be responsible for following any breaks or lunches set by upper management.
- Be trained on all basic FOH duties, including reception/floater, call center and budtender duties.
- Follow all company and state transaction standards and procedures (such as Scan, tag and bag, laying out cash and marking bills, etc.).
- Takes initiative to understand and abide by Nirvana Cannabis policies and procedures described in the handbook.
- Takes initiative to understand and follow AZDHS regulations to always remain compliant.
- Communicates with coworkers in a supportive and amicable manner, and understands the importance of teamwork.
- Provides excellent customer service, and is willing to actively listen to each customer in order to direct them to the most suitable product(s).
- Functions with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Keeps a clean and organized work area and helps to maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Can perform any duty assigned to them as requested by supervisors or managers.
- Is familiar with the Dutchie POS system and is able to verify that applicable discounts are given correctly.
- Scanning identification cards to ensure they are valid and knows that all acceptable forms of ID are government issued, have a photo, date of birth and a signature or other form of biometric data, and are still valid (date).
- Is well versed on proper cash handling practices.
- Make sure that all opening/closing tasks are performed thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
- Understands the proper chain of command and follows it correctly.
- Always stays in control of the transaction at hand and takes responsibility for any mistakes made.
- Remains teachable and open to constructive criticism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
- Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of retail experience is highly preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking throughout the facility.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
